Altas AL-3037 Hyper Extension Bench

I bought this bench for the hyperextension aspect and in that respect, the bench is perfect. But, the additional bars, designed for dips does not feel sturdy enough for it's purpose. Also, even though I've tightened the bolts securely, the part of the frame that holds both base supports together and that holds the padding for my hip/waist area, shifts upon pulling on the dip handles. When doing hyperextension, it shifts slightly downward and rests in place, so I'm good. Again, if I relied on the dip bars, I would have been disappointed. Sorry.

Solid piece of equipment.

This is commercial quality. Very sturdy when assembled correctly. Pricy but very good quality. You get what you pay for. No complaints.
