What are PowerBlock Dumbbells? 

PowerBlock is a brand of adjustable dumbbells that have been around since the 90s. PowerBlock dumbbells are versatile and very easy to use. Both beginners and pros alike can appreciate the comfort and easability that the PowerBlock dumbbells have to offer.

PowerBlocks adjustable dumbbells come in three flavours, the Pro Series, Sport Series and USA Elite Series.

Pro Series

The Pro Series as you might have imagined, are geared towards professionals. The weight plate material on the pro models are Urethane molded over Steel Plate.

• Pro 32 (Adjustable up to 32 lbs in 4 lbs increments)
• Pro 50 (Adjustable up to 50 lbs in 2.5 lbs increments)
• Pro EXP Stage 1 Base Kit (Adjustable up to 50 lb in 2.5 lbs increments)

Pro EXP Addons for Pro EXP Stage 1 Base Kit

• Stage 2 Expansion Kit (Includes 50lb - 70lb expansion; Requires Stage 1 Base Kit)
• Stage 3 Expansion Kit (Includes 70lb - 90lb expansion; Requires both Stage 1 Base Kit and Stage 2 Expansion Kit) 

The PowerBlock Pro EXP comes in 3 stages. Stage 1 is the base unit adjustable from 5-50lbs. Stage 1 is a standalone product and can operate without the need for any expansion kits. Stage 2 requires Stage 1, and Stage 3 requires both Stage 1 and Stage 2. 

It’s important to remember that Stage 2 and Stage 3 are expansion kits and cannot be used as a standalone product. 

Sport Series

The Sport Series are very similar to the Pros. The primary difference being the material. The Sport series features steel plates rather than the Urethane molded over Steel found on the Pro series. The PowerBlock 24 is also color coded.
